Risks of Burnt Plastic to Health
The smoke from burning plastics contains particles that are toxic and dangerous to our health. These particles are so toxic that they can cause cancer to the person inhaled it. When these particles fall back to the ground after being burnt, the soil will be contaminated for many years therefore the fruits and vegetables harvested from these soil will become unsafe.

Burning of plastic waste is dangerous one’s health and to the environment. PVC which is common in products like jugs, bottles, plastic bags and plastic packaging from the market. When they are burned, dioxins, furans and carbon monoxide are released in the air. Furans and dioxins are linked to respiratory diseases and cancer most especially in children since their respiratory system is not yet developed fully. It can then cause birth defects in the cardiovascular and respiratory system when the burnt plastic is inhaled by pregnant mother.
