Is Home-schooling better nowadays?
With the excellent academic achievement of children who are home-schooled, home-schooling has been proven to offer great care for students. Great care are obviously taken by parents of children home-schooling to do the best that they can to ensure that their children’s work is in the high academic standard.
However, home-schooling is not just about academic achievements and not either public schooling all about it. Education is a complete package. This means that a big part of education being achievement and effective subject instruction. During the process in education, children learn the valuable skills. School system follows a specific routine. Children are used to the idea of assignment and project deadlines and the negative precautions if these deadlines will not be met. This is an important learning process that prepares children for their career and adult life. Parent of home-schooling students should be aware about it and make sure that their children are treated in the same way that they would have been in formal schooling situations.
Public school teachers are objective and they treat all the children in the same manner. Teachers are used to children being very manipulative. However, when your own child is concerned, parents can be less objective. It’s a human nature and there is nothing wrong with it. As parent and teacher, one should be vigilant and learn how not to give in to their child’s manipulation. It is important to have a successful home-school.
